Easy Air Fryer Recipes for Thanksgiving

Turkey Breast Roulade
Enjoy your favorite Thanksgiving dinner flavors without having to roast a whole turkey.

1/2 turkey breast, butterflied & pounded 3/4 inch thick
salt, to taste
ground black pepper, to taste
3 slices provolone cheese
2 large roasted red peppers
2 tbsp. apricot jam
10–12 dried apricots
10–12 strips bacon
2 tsp. cracked tricolor peppercorns
Directions:
  1. Place the turkey on parchment paper. Season the turkey with the salt and black pepper.
  2. Lay the provolone in the center of the turkey. Cover with the red peppers. Spread the apricot jam over the peppers. Lay the dried apricots in a line down the center of the turkey. Roll the turkey up in the parchment paper.
  3. Lay the bacon evenly on a separate piece of parchment paper. Place the turkey in the center of the bacon and remove the parchment paper from the turkey. Roll the bacon around the turkey, remove the parchment paper, and use toothpicks to secure the bacon.
  4. Season the outside of the roulade with the tricolor peppercorns.
  5. Place the roulade in the air fryer’s basket. Bake for 40 minutes at 350° F.
  6. When the roulade is done cooking, slice and serve.
Turkey & Stuffing Bites
Our favorite leftovers recipe: these fantastic bite-sized appetizers cook to a golden crisp in only 10 minutes.

2 cups leftover stuffing
1 cup leftover turkey, cubed
1/2 cup leftover gravy
1/2 cup whole cranberry sauce
zest of 1 orange
2 scallions, cut lengthwise into thin strips, for garnish
Directions:
  1. Form the stuffing into 10–12 patties. Place the patties in the air fryer’s basket. Press your thumb into the center of each patty to make an indentation.
  2. In a bowl, coat the turkey in the gravy and mix.
  3. Top each stuffing patty with some of the turkey and gravy.
  4. Top the turkey with the cranberry sauce.
  5. Air fry the turkey & stuffing bites for 10 minutes at 390° F.
  6. Transfer the turkey & stuffing bites to a plate. Top with the orange zest and garnish with the scallions.
Baked Apple Turnovers
These delicious & easy pastries will make you wonder why you ever spent hours rolling pie dough.

3 tbsp. butter
4 medium-size Granny Smith apples, diced
2/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp. flour
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 cup water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 store-bought pie crust
egg wash (1 egg, beaten together with 1 tbsp. cream, milk, or water)
demerara sugar
vanilla ice cream, for serving
caramel sauce, for serving
Directions:
  1. Melt the butter in a fry pan on the stove top. When the butter is melted, add the apples and coat the apples in the sugar.
  2. Top with the flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg and mix together.
  3. Add the water and lemon juice. Cook while stirring occasionally for 8 minutes to finish the filling.
  4. Roll out the pie crust. Evenly divide the filling between the center of the top-left and top-right quadrants of the pie crust.
  5. Brush the edges of the pie crust with some of the egg wash.
  6. Fold the bottom of the pie crust over the filling. Press down the edges of the pie crust around the two groups of filling.
  7. Cut the pie crust in half to make two turnovers. Use a fork to crimp the edges of the turnovers.
  8. Transfer the turnovers to the air fryer’s basket. Brush the turnovers with the egg wash and sprinkle with the demerara sugar.
  9. Bake the turnovers for 20 minutes at 320° F.
  10. Transfer the turnovers to a plate. Top with a scoop of ice cream and drizzle with the caramel sauce before serving.
Baked Thumbprint Cookies
A decadent take on traditional sugar cookies, this surprisingly simple recipe takes us though the entire holiday season.

1 stick butter, softened
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1/3 cup assorted jams
powdered sugar, for garnish
Directions:
  1. Use a stand mixer to combine the butter and sugar.
  2. Add the egg and continue mixing.
  3. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and flour mixture to the stand mixer’s bowl and continue mixing until the batter clumps together.
  5. Line the air fryer’s basket with parchment paper. Use an ice cream scoop to scoop balls of the dough onto the parchment paper.
  6. Form an indentation in the center of each dough ball. Fill the indentation with some of the jam.
  7. Bake the cookies for 12 minutes at 320° F.
  8. Garnish the cookies with the powdered sugar before serving.

Juicy Air Fried Hot Wings
We created this (super crispy) air fryer recipe for buffalo chicken wings that eliminates both breading and oil.

Serves 2
For 2 & 3 QT. air fryers
12–14 chicken wing drumettes, raw
1/2 cup buffalo sauce

Serves 5
For 5 & 7 QT. air fryers
30 chicken wing drumettes, raw
1 cup buffalo sauce
Directions:
  1. Insert the Fry Tray into the Basket. Insert the Basket into the air fryer.
  2. Press the French Fry Button (400° F) and set the cooking time to 3 mins. Let the air fryer preheat.
  3. Place the chicken wings in the Basket. Insert the Basket into the air fryer.
  4. Press the French Fry Button (400° F) and set the cooking time to 25 mins. Flip the chicken wings halfway through the cooking time.
  5. Remove the chicken wings and toss with the buffalo sauce.
  6. Return the chicken wings to the Basket. Insert the Basket into the air fryer.
  7. Press the French Fry Button (400° F) and set the cooking time to 8 mins. Toss the wings halfway through the 30 chicken wing drumettes, raw cooking time.
Extra Crispy Chicken Tenders
Adored by children and adults alike, these chicken fingers finish with an extra crisp thanks to panko breadcrumbs.

For 2 & 3 QT. air fryers
1/2 cup flour
2 large eggs
1 oz. milk
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
4 chicken tenders
1 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1 tsp. olive oil
4 oz. honey mustard, for serving

1/2 cup flour

2 oz. milk
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
8 chicken tenders
1 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1 tsp. olive oil
4 oz. honey mustard, for serving
Directions:
  1. Pour the flour onto a pan.
  2. Combine the egg and milk in a bowl and mix.
  3. Pour the breadcrumbs onto a separate pan.
  4. Dip each chicken tender into the flour, then the egg mixture, and finally the breadcrumbs.
  5. Insert the Fry Tray into the Basket. Insert the Basket into the air fryer.
  6. Press the French Fry button (400° F) and set the cooking time to 3 mins. Let the air fryer preheat.
  7. Place the chicken tenders in the Basket. Insert the Basket into the air fryer.

The Best Air Fryer French Fries Recipe

1 russet potato
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 tbsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

For 5 & 7 QT. air fryers
2 russet potatoes
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
Directions:
  1. Place a pot on the stove top. Place the potatoes in the pot and cover the potatoes with water. Blanch the potatoes over high heat until tender.
  2. Remove the potatoes from the pot, let cool, and cut the potatoes into fries.
  3. Toss the fries with the olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Insert the Fry Tray into the Basket. Insert the Basket into the air fryer.
  5. Press the French Fry Button (400° F) and set the cooking time to 3 mins. Let the air fryer preheat.
  6. Place the French fries in the Basket, being careful not to overfill, and place the Basket into the air fryer.
  7. Press the French Fry Button (400° F) and set the cooking time to 18 mins. Shake the Basket periodically and toss the fries halfway through the cooking time.

1 cup leftover macaroni and cheese, refrigerated
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup flour
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup plain breadcrumbs

For 5 & 7 QT. air fryers
2 cups leftover macaroni and cheese, refrigerated
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup flour
3 eggs
2 cups milk
1 cup plain breadcrumbs
Directions:
  1. Combine the macaroni and cheese and cheddar cheese in a bowl.
  2. Pour the flour into a second bowl.
  3. Pour the breadcrumbs into a third bowl.
  4. Combine the eggs and milk in a fourth bowl and mix.
  5. Use a small ice cream scoop to make ping pong-size balls out of the macaroni and cheese mixture.
  6. Roll the mac and cheese balls in the flour, then the egg mixture, and finally the breadcrumbs.
  7. Insert the Fry Tray into the Basket. Insert the Basket into the air fryer.
  8. Set the cooking temperature to 360° F and the cooking time to 3 mins. Let the air fryer preheat.
  9. Place the mac and cheese balls in the Basket. Insert the Basket into the air fryer.
  10. Set the cooking temperature to 360° F and the cooking time to 10 mins. Rotate the mac and cheese balls halfway through the cooking time.
